The Gulf Factory for Jewellery Manufacturing was the first business of Al-Muhanna Group. Founded in 1967, it is one of the oldest gold factories in Saudi Arabia, and for its first ten years it was the group’s only activity. Its success gave the founders the confidence to invest in other sectors that support the Kingdom’s economy.
The factory produces gold jewellery of every kind and design, pieces set with precious stones and diamonds, gold watches and other fine items, and it also buys and sells precious stones and metals. Its original designs, many inspired by customers’ own tastes, have earned it a strong reputation in the Kingdom and across the Middle East, and its designers and craftsmen compete with well-known international brands.
